Slapstick Comedy, 1910's - Film 23896

Slapstick comedy clips. Car crashes through log, men walk away with piles of firewood. Car with wonky wheel falls apart as it drives along road. Man and woman avoid being run over by railway train as they run from one railroad track to another and back again. In a street, a man runs through a free-standing door which he locks; another man shoulder charges the door down. Convict runs away from dangling safe which then falls on top of cop or policeman. Three shots of people missing their footing as they try to get into speed boats; they end up in the sea. Man targets wrong man and smashes chair over waiter's head, says "Curses" or "Drat" and chases correct man. Man jumps onto chandelier; close up of his backside or pocket close to a lighted gas jet; gun cartridges explode around crowded bar as people run for cover and man spins on chandelier. Four indoor shots of people falling into, being pushed into or simply ending up in water. Car drives to between two passing trams; it is squeezed thin and trundles away from camera, only a foot or so wide.
